Allied Healthcare are holding IMMEDIATE LOCAL INTERVIEWS for Learning Disabilities Support Workers to care for children and adults at our Worcester Branch.

We are eager to speak to drivers who can work in Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern and the surrounding areas.

Our team of Learning Disabilities Support Workers are responsible for encouraging and motivating Service Users with a variety of needs including adults and children with physical impairments or learning disabilities in their own homes.

Duties include:
- Supporting people with a range of needs who live in their own homes or with their families, to live more independent lives as equal members of their community.
- Motivating your customer to work towards the goals they have created
- Supporting customers with shopping or getting about in the local community, accessing dating groups, hobbies, sports, reading letters, paying bills etc.
- Assisting with personal care, (washing and bathing)
- Administration of medication
- Meal preparation
- Light domestic duties
- Successful applicants will work flexibly to meet our customers’ needs which may include some weekend working.

Successful applicants will be Drivers that hold a full drivers licence and have their own vehicle.
